Joyful Song

Encouraging young ladies to be joyful in the life God has given them.

About Me

Hello!  My name is Carilyn and I am a sixteen year old girl who loves the Lord and desires to follow Him in everything that I do.  I love homemaking and godly living and I hope that this website will encourage anyone that visits.

I enjoy many things, including the following: crocheting, writing, cooking, sewing, grammar, cleaning and reading.  My favorite type of music is hymns and one of my favorite hymns is Redeemed.

I am the second oldest of nine children and I love my family!  All of us children are homeschooled by our lovely mother.

About the website

The Lord makes it clear throughout Scripture that He wants His children to be joyful.  Consider the following verses:

Psalm 35:9     And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord; it shall rejoice in His salvation.

Philippians 4:4     Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Psalm 98:4     Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth; break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises.

Following the Lord will give you joy.  Singing is one way to praise the Lord and express your joy.  Knowing that we are imperfect sinners whom He loved enough to die in order to save us, makes me all the more joyful and thankful for the gift of salvation.  I hope that this website will encourage you to be joyful in the Lord and will further your desire to follow Him.

Psalm 5:11

But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You.
